A Short Life Story - Part 4 (Finale)
by pale.emperor ina continuation from part 3, which is here: https://www.jehovahs-witness.com/topic/4807117397557248/short-life-story-part-3#!#4918071166763008.
my wife had settled into a routine of waking up at 6am each day, cleaning (so no chance of a lie in for me or our daughter with the vacuum cleaner going), eating very little, picking the skin off her lips while she sits there in a trance obsessing over things that are out of our control and dont matter anyway.
she never did return to work.

I still remember when you first came here and am so happy you have thrived since leaving the cult behind. It's not easy to untangle yourself from it, but is worth every bit of pain.

Paranoid why the coordinator's wife is soft shunning me
by Isambard Crater infor the past six months the coordinator's wife has definitely been avoiding me, turning her back or walking away when i walk in her direction, giving me a stare at other times.
if i try to make casual conversation with her, she literally walks away or just looks through me until someone else comes to talk to her.. i can only think of one reason, which is that she may have seen me give a car ride to a disfellowshipped person months ago.
i mean, it would be totally random if she happened to spot me on this one short journey, but it's possible.

Jw mummies boys
by purrpurr ini've had the misfortune to encounter quite a few mummies boys in the cult.
men aged 20-40 who although in men's bodies think, act and behave like children.
their mother's had them tied to the apron strings tightly.

The message to those brought up in the cult is to listen and obey. They are supposed to obey the organization, obey the elders, obey their parents, it's no wonder they can't make a decision. When one of my young relatives left the cult I told them "you are going to make mistakes, its normal, that's how we all learn." The Watchtower corporation implants the idea that mistakes are wrong and if you listen to them you won't make mistakes.

opportunity for fornication
by road to nowhere inever see brother ugly who is 86 being taken to the doctor by sister frigid who is 65 and also not good looking?
they have to have a chaperone or at least sit in back and front seats.
or a man who can't bring the freezing daughter in the house when he stopped briefly by because hubby is not home.

JW's think everything and everyone is an opportunity for sex. Young brother picks up 90 year old woman for the meeting, she must ride in the back, because the temptation would be too much. π€’
After leaving you realize that people aren't that preoccupied with sex, and you can go on business trips, and to dinner with coworkers and nobody spontaneously starts cavorting on the table. π

Is There Anywhere To Go for an Outed JW elder/pedophile enabler?
by mrmagic insince the australian royal commission, a lot of jw elders have been outed for either being pedophiles/molesters or for enabling it.
the jw elders who enabled it, are publicly outed to their community online and offline.
it's become a congregational matter with the entire kingdom hall and someone said that this elder would lose his eldership possibly, due to it "being known in the congregation and community" that he enabled child sexual abuse.

The court case listed above is public record. And the fact that it is the newspaper, makes it even more public. In this instance I wouldn't worry.
Geez JD or RO or whoever you are, why do you always want to scare people into not exposing the Watchtower for what it is.
The photgrapher in your example was not charged by anyone, it wasn't a court case, and it was a lie, that is why the $1m was awarded. It's not slander if it's true.

Using Illegal Means for Righteous Activism
by John Davis ini wanted to get people's opinion on something.
how do you feel when people use illegal means while performing their activism to shed light on the watchtower.
there have been people who have illegally recorded conversations with elders and with branch offices or at meetings.

I really dont care what happens to the Watchtower Corporation. If someone breaks the law and gets their super secret data base or if someone records them to show how truly awful they are, they deserve whatever happens to them.
I wouldn't hack, but I would record. When you are shitty to people they will be shitty back. You know the reap/ sow scripture.

2 hours ago2 hours ago2 hours agoWould probably be interesting to know how your wife's elder father explained that away?
"It's just kids being kids. They shouldnt do that although... if her dad was a Jehovah's Witness it wouldnt have happened. Just saying..." I asked this question to her mum on the phone after you posted it.
That is typical JW behavior, instead of taking responsibility for their own bad behavior, it's your fault because you don't go to the hall.
